为深入学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，增进学生党员对思政教育的理解，更好提升师范生双语教学能力，4月26日，红宝石9999hbs学生第二党支部在文理楼203会议室开展了“理解当代中国之‘足印千秋’双语课堂”党建品牌活动。“双语课堂”系列活动以《理解当代中国-英语读写教程》为蓝本，组织本支部英语（师范）专业的学生党员开展双语教学实践训练，带领党员读原篇、学原文、悟原理。
本期双语课堂由B21英语3班的沈佳柠同学担任主讲，授课内容为第七单元“走向民族复兴（Towards National Rejuvenation）中”的《Today We Must Succeed in a New “Long March”》文章。在课前导入环节，沈佳柠同学结合时事提出“红军长征和我们的新长征有什么异同”这一问题，支部党员展开了积极热烈的讨论和交流。
在正式授课环节中，沈佳柠同学将文本内容与当代青年使命相结合，聚焦文中专有名词短语，如长征精神（the spirit of the Long March）、两个百年目标（The Two Centenary Goals）、五位一体（Five-Point Strategy）等进行历史对比教学，引导学生党员深入理解新时代长征精神与自身教育使命。
互动环节中，沈佳柠同学邀请学生党员代表完成相关练习：①批判性思考问题：Why is it still necessary for us to uphold the spirit of the Long March under the current circumstances？②分析关键句：the spirit of the Long March “was forged with the lives and blood of Chinese Communists and Red Army soldiers. ③共同朗读与当代中国长征精神相关的句子翻译：前进道路上，我们要大力弘扬伟大长征精神，激励和鼓舞全党全军全国各族人民特别是青年一代……在实现“两个一百年”奋斗目标、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦新的长征路上续写新的篇章、创造新的辉煌！（As we advance on this path, we must vigorously promote the spirit of the Long March, and draw on this spirit to inspire and encourage the whole of the Party, all our military, and every Chinese person, especially the young…to write a new, glorious chapter in our new long march to attain the Two Centenary Goals and realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.）在思考与朗读中，党员们对于长征精神所倡导的艰苦奋斗、团结协作等内容理解更为全面，也为未来融合长征精神、庚续教育力量的发展之路探寻方向。
在最后的总结环节中，沈佳柠同学从文章结构出发，分析每个段落，带领党员们回顾了本节双语党课所涉及的相关知识点，并鼓励大家课后自主上网搜查相关书籍继续开展学习。
本次活动跨越历史与现实，参与党员均表示受益匪浅：
长征，这一人类历史上的伟大征程的伟大胜利，离不开像毛泽东这样的军事政治领袖的领导和正确决策，同时也离不开具有高度政治觉悟的一个个普通士兵的英勇奋战。《大会师》就在展现领袖人物的同时，写出了诸如枣儿、书同、石传一等一批青年战士投身革命参加长征。追忆往昔，缅怀先烈，不忘初心。在习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的指引下，作为师范生，我们普通，但不平凡。在未来的每一步里，我们更应不畏艰险、攻坚克难，走好教育之路，为实现民族伟大复兴培养“造梦者”，也为自身走好新时代的长征之路立下“教师梦”。

本次主题党日活动不仅引导学生党员读原篇、学原文、悟原理，提升党性修养和思政水平，又帮助师范生夯实专业基础和双语教学实践能力，熟悉政治方面的专业术语，提高语言表达能力。长征精神足印千秋，时代传承引导新路。本次活动利于党建与英语互融，同时为理解当代中国、传播中国故事打下坚实基础。

The Five-Sphere Integrated Plan—the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics encompassing economic, political, cultural, social and ecological development—was proposed on November 8, 2012 at the 18th National Congress of the CPC.
the Two Centenary Goals
The Two Centenary Goals were announced at the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012. The First Centenary Goal is to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects by the centenary of the CPC (founded in 1921) and the Second Centenary Goal is to build China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious by the centenary of the PRC (founded in 1949). Ambitious on a national level, these goals reflect the wishes and expectations of individuals, families and communities. They embody the grand vision and ideals of the Chinese Dream, and pave the way for making the Chinese Dream a reality.
the spirit of the Long March
From October 1934 to October 1936, the CPC followed its own strategy by leading the main forces of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army on a trek of 25,000 li (12,500 km) from its bases in south China to the Party’s enclave in northern Shaanxi Province. Known as the “Long March,” this epic effort created a legacy of revolutionary idealism and started a new great march towards national independence and people’s liberation.
This is a spirit of strong beliefs, of fearless resolution to surmount difficulties at any cost, of firm discipline, and of Party unity.
